Clear guidelines to ensure every appointment runs smoothly and respectfully.

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking which will be deducted from your service total.

    Unfortunately, no deposit means we can’t reserve your spot.

  • You may reschedule or make changes up to 24 hours before your appointment and your deposit will transfer to the new booking.

    I may contact you to reschedule your appointment if necessary. I will give you as much notice as possible and provide alternative dates to accommodate you. Remember your deposit is non-refundable, and you may use it later to rebook if no other suitable dates are available at the time.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours will result in the loss of your deposit and a new deposit will be required to secure a future appointment.

    For cancellations or changes within 24 hours, please contact me directly.

    If you request a shorter or lower-priced service within 24 hours, the original booked price may still apply, as the reserved time cannot always be refilled.

  • If you are sick, think you may be sick or recovering, you will need to cancel or reschedule your appointment asap. Rescheduling and Cancellation terms apply as usual.

    If you show up unwell to your appointment, you may be denied service and charged 100% of your service fee less your deposit.

  • Late arrivals without notice may result in a shortened or cancelled appointment and full service charged less deposit, which is at our discretion according to the schedule.

    No shows will be charged the full service amount less the deposit. If you do not show up to your appointment twice in a row, you may not be able to book in the future.

  • The studio is an intimate space so unfortunately there isn’t room for a friend or parent in the studio.

    To ensure I can provide you with the most efficient, relaxing and safe service, children cannot accompany you to your appointment. Failure to follow these guides may result in loss of deposit and full charge of appointment.

  • To keep your service smooth and sanitary, please arrive with clean hands and bare nails. Removals without notice may impact the service provided. I am passionate about safe removal of products, please don’t be afraid to come with products on your nails, I will happily remove it. Additional charges and time applies for removals - ensure this is included in your booking.

    If you have any bruising, infections or cuts on your hands or nails we will not be able to complete your service. If you have any questions, please contact me prior to booking, otherwise Rescheduling/Cancellation terms apply as usual.

    We are not responsible for any allergic or adverse reactions to products and the methods used however your legal consumer rights still apply.

    We are not held responsible for any accidents that happen in the studio.

  • I do not offer services to clients under the age of 16. Clients who are 16 or 17 must have prior consent of a parent.

  • We are an inclusive salon where everyone, including myself deserves to be treated with respect and kindness.

    Any abusive language or behaviour in our salon or online towards our business or clients will not be tolerated.

    Failure to adhere will result in you being permanently removed from our books.

  • Please don’t hesitate to ask for a silent appointment if you’re anxious, tired, mentally drained etc. and just want to avoid conversation and have some quiet time.

    There will be no judgement, there never is. Regardless of the reason, you are always welcome to utilise this ‘add on’ option.

  • Payment of your deposit will be taken at the time of booking.

    The remainder is required once your service is completed.

    Card is our preferred payment method, however I do accept cash. Cheques will not be accepted.

  • You will be asked during your appointment if you are happy with your service - please let us know, as your opinion is valued and this will allow me to make any necessary changes.

    If your nails break or lifting occurs within 3 days of your appointment, I will repair them free of charge at our next available appointment. You must contact us within this timeframe to be eligible for a complimentary repair. Please note damaged nails (from ripping off products etc) will void this guarantee.

    Any repairs after this period will be charged as normal.

    Remember - Nails are jewels NOT tools! :)

  • Bubbalicious Hands operates a security camera within the salon premises. The camera records video only (no audio) and is in place solely for the purposes of ensuring personal safety, protecting client and staff wellbeing, and safeguarding salon equipment.

    The security system is not used to monitor or record client services for any other reason. Recordings are only accessed if reasonably required for safety, security, or legal purposes. Client privacy and confidentiality remain a top priority at all times.

  • At Bubbalicious Hands, your privacy is important to me. This Privacy Policy explains how I collect, use, and protect your personal information when you book or attend a service.

    1. Information Collected

    When you make a booking, I may collect:

    • Your name and contact details (phone number, email, social media handle if provided)

    • Appointment history and service preferences

    • Payment and deposit details (processed securely through the booking platform; no payment information is stored by me directly)

    • Any health or allergy information you choose to share that is relevant to your nail service

    2. How Information is Used

    Your information is used only to:

    • Confirm, manage, and communicate about your appointments

    • Provide safe and tailored nail services

    • Process payments and deposits

    • Send appointment reminders or important updates

    • Maintain accurate business records as required by law

    3. Security & Confidentiality

    • All information is kept secure within the booking system.

    • Personal details are never shared, sold, or disclosed to third parties unless legally required.

    • CCTV cameras are in operation within the salon for safety and equipment security. These record video only (no audio) and are accessed solely if required for security or legal purposes.

    4. Client Rights

    You have the right to:

    • Access the personal information held about you

    • Request corrections to your details

    • Withdraw consent to receive communications such as marketing or reminders (excluding essential appointment updates)

    5. Retention

    Client records are kept securely for as long as required to provide services and meet business or legal obligations.

Common questions about services and studio standards.

  • No, pedicure services are not offered.
    As this is a small, one-on-one studio focused on hand services, the space is not set up for pedicures.

  • No, I do not offer acrylic services.

    I specialise in builder gel and Gel-X systems designed for long-term nail health.

  • No, I don’t use traditional glued tips.

    Length can be created using Gel-X extensions or sculpted with specialised gel for a tailored result.

  • No, express services are not offered.
    Appointments are intentionally unhurried to allow for detailed prep and a calm, one-on-one experience.
    If you’re working within a time constraint, please mention this when booking so we can plan accordingly.

  • A limited range of traditional polish is available for those who prefer not to use gel.
    Traditional polish services are single colour only (no nail art).
    Where possible, I use vegan, non-toxic Australian-made products.

  • Ideal for weak or brittle nails, natural nail growth, or added strength.
    Length can be created without traditional tips.
    This is my most recommended service.

  • A soft gel extension system designed to add length.
    Applied over the whole nail and soaked off for gentle removal with minimal dust.

  • All services are completed using a professional e-file (electric file) for precise cuticle prep and refinement.
    I hold a Certificate III in Nail Technology and am fully trained in professional e-file use.
    If you have questions about the process, I’m happy to discuss this during your appointment.

  • Yes. I hold a Certificate III in Nail Technology and have been trained to use products and tools safely and hygienically.
